Septic systems should be installed on level or high ground to avoid seeping and flooding. After it’s designed, it will have to be approved by local health authorities before it can be installed to ensure it meets local regulations. This stage in the septic installation process can take anywhere from a couple days to a few weeks.

In this stage, technicians will excavate the land to make room for your new septic tank and drain field.
